Hmmm. The only thing I've got going on my design wall (mat) this morning is this table topper I started on Saturday. I did have fun playing with the cut out pieces before putting it into the order I knew I wanted to sew it in. I did post some of my layouts, here.
Once I've stitched it together, I'll do a double border with the white and then the red fabrics, and then I'll bind it with a green. I'd like to quilt it with some gold or silver thread. I don't know. I'm also not sure I know how I want to quilt it yet. Any suggestions? I'd like to have it finished up next week. This is a busy week, though, so we'll see!
Check out what folks are working on this week by visiting Judy Laquidara's Patchwork Times today!
Today, Sawyer and I are making a super-easy and yummy crock pot chicken cacciatore for dinner. Right now, though, we're dancing around to Jingle Bells and other assorted Christmas songs. Well, he is. I'm not much on bouncing these days! We'll probably also watch Mickey's Christmas Carol today, too. Whatever we do, I know *I'll* enjoy it!
God is so very good. Happy Monday!
