For anyone thinking that I must be going into Halloween withdrawal now that the 31st has passed -- don't worry! I have a new toy to play with!-
I finally bought my new sewing machine yesterday. It is a Husqvarna Emerald 183. It is definitely a nice step up from my department store Singer which basically had the working attitude of a defiant, hungry, sleep-deprived two-year-old toddler. Completely uncooperative no matter what I tried. I think you Moms out there will get the picture. :-)

Anyway, my new machine is in the box for now until I get my work for the day done. But late this afternoon, here I come! I looked through the instruction book last night and it looks so fun!

On another note, THANKS SO MUCH for all the nice comments I've been getting lately. I try to respond to each one by email, but some people's profiles are set to "no-reply" so I'll just respond here and say that it brightens my day to hear such kind words. The quilting community is so great!
