Once again, I have missed a challenge. Just seem to be focusing on getting some special pieces done this month.
I thought I would share this piece which I finished a week or so ago. I am particularly pleased with how it turned out.
It is based on a quote I read in an annual report of the foundation of author Greg Mortensen (Three Cups of Tea). The quote is "When it is dark, you can see the stars." I used thread painting and beading. (I have been doing an online workshop in beading these past weeks.) It is a foot square in size.
