Out and About

I spent the day yesterday out and about. I haven't been able to stop by my favorite quilt shop in a while, Material Girls, so I headed down to South Jordan to visit. I love that store!

On my way home Kathleen and I decided to stop at a quilt shop that we'd never visited before. Just Sew. I thought it was a darling shop but when I saw this hanging on the end of their fabric rack I decided I love the store even more.

 This is the LaPetite Ecole quilt that I designed for Moda Fabrics. It's pretty fun to see your design hanging in a quilt shop!

Then I headed back up to Midway to teach a little demo for week one of the Block of the week that I am designing for Seasons of Home (they've got a picture of me on their blog so you can see me in action.)

We had a great turn out and it was a lot of fun to chat with my sewing friends.

It was a great day! I love visiting quilt shops and chatting with quilting friends!
