We live in a small town in the Utah mountains.
It's a great town, even though it's grown a lot in the last 10 years it still has the same small town feeling. Mostly everyone knows everyone. We have a great support system here. We also have a newspaper that is published every Wednesday. It's always fun to check it out and see who's getting married, who had a baby, you know, all the fun things about living in a small town.
Some people at the local newspaper got word of Kathleen and her participation in the McCalls Quilt Design Star Challenge and they decided to write a story about her.
It's pretty big article. They tell all about the contest and then encourage everyone in our small town to support Kathleen (my mom) and vote for her in the McCalls Quilt Design Star Challenge.
Now, I can say my mom is my claim to fame in this town!
You can still vote for her in the McCalls Quilt Design Star Contest. Simply click here and vote!
