Hello, My Dear Quilting Friends,
Well, The New year started out with a real Bang! Our air conditioning sytem decided to break down. Had several wonderful days without it. ( HOT).... Thank goodness I had the one extra unit in our bedroom, which we had gotten due to my oxygen machine. It does not work well with out the air on. As I was trapped in my bedroom.... I watched quilting video's on a lot of new techniques to try out this year. Worked on some more blocks...by hand. Good news the unit has been repaired.... and I am out of the bedroom once again. Hooray!!!!!
These video's are so wonderful, and a real teaching tool. I have learned so much from them, and have stepped out of worrying if I can do that technique or not. As I find out I can! Therefore, this New Year is going to be full of refreshing new ideas for me to do on my new quilts this year. I have made my list already, for the up coming Chritmas gifts. I would like to make up many gifts this year.
I feel it in my bones.... this year will be my year ..."2011"..... to try out some new tips and secrets for making more spectacular quilts.!!!!!!!!
