This Iris Pocketbook was commissioned as a gift.
My art quilts can be seen on my blog Art Quilts by Lynn here. Lately I have been making small hand held pocket books (fabric books of four pockets for stuffing with surprise gifts, ATCs, Affirmations, etc. & 2 covers) as seen above. So far I have sold half a dozen off my daily blog here.

I've been creating in this manner since the summer of 2007; my art has shown in local galleries, town square library, surgery center and in shows in surrounding towns. I've been honored with a few prizes and some commissioned works as well. I participate in the group called Art Quilts Around The World with artists from Australia, The Netherlands and USA.
I'm excited to be apart of this blog and hope to get to know more contemporary quilt artists this way. And also to bring the notion of textile art to more viewers.
