Yesterday the new McCalls Quilting magazine arrived! I had been stalking the mail man waiting for this magazine!
Let me tell you why.
First of all, I knew that the Holiday Ribbons Quilt that I quilted for Julie was going to be in here. I am so honored to be able to quilt a quilt that was published in McCalls. You can read more about it here.
{Don't mind me, I'm so flattered that it says my name and shows close up quilting of two of the blocks!}
Reason #2 that I was so excited about this!

How cool is it that my mom and I both got to be in the same magazine for two different things!

Kathleen in in the magazine for being one of the top 15 contestants in the McCalls Quilt Design Star contest. This contest has some pretty tough competition so she would really appreciate your vote!
