Tacos are always another "go-to" food in our home. They are pretty simple and I can usually get my husband to help making the total prep time about 10-15 minutes.
Ingredients needed:
1 packet Mild Taco Seasoning
1 package Mexican Blend Cheese
Ketchup
Ranch
1 lb ground Hamburger
Lettuce
1 Tomato
Flour Tortillas
First, brown the hamburger.
After hamburger is browned put it into a strainer and rinse any grease/fat away.
Return the hamburger to the frying pan and sprinkle 1/2 package of Taco Seasoning over meat. Leave in pan to warm until all other ingredients are ready to be served.
While the hamburger is browning chop up some lettuce.
Chop up the tomato.
Put the grated cheese into a bowl.
Now you're ready to serve.
Warm tortillas in the microwave. We prefer to warm them one at a time for 10-15 seconds.
First place ground beef.
Sprinkle cheese over ground beef.
Next, add lettuce.
Add tomatoes as desired.
Top with Ketchup and Ranch.
My husband will generally add a little bit of hot sauce to his.
We like to eat our tacos with chips and salsa. Mango salsa is a favorite of mine. I generally like to buy the salsa from Costco, but Erin posted a recipe for mango salsa this week that I am definitely going to be trying out.
Hope you're having a fabulous day! I'll be hanging out with my long arm machine most of the day and then off to quilt guild tonight!
