This past weekend I worked on my Mystery Quilt-along that Tonya from Hillbilly Handiworks did in May. I followed along with each step on her blog in my little sewing room.
See my sewing room isn't quite so little, when you see it like this. When Ritch goes out fishing, I move the iron and board over to the kitchen counter. I place the cutting board on the table. I expand my sewing room temporarily, but I really can sew just in the little space - My little sewing room.
Here is my view of the Mississippi River. We are right on the main channel of the Mississippi River. We watch the barges go by.
When I stand up I can see the steps to our boat. I wave goodbye to Ritch as he heads out to fish. I wish him good luck and I hope it doesn't rain.
Ritch and his brother, Bob and our son, BJ are heading out to fish! Good luck!
There they go down river to fish. Now I can sew!
After waving good bye I head back to our camper. Gabby and I go inside and sew.
Here is the view up River.
We have been camping here for 19 years. We started camping when our kids were in middle school. We had a pontoon boat then and sometimes I went fishing too.
Hodgepodge Patchwork Tuesday posts started because I wanted to share some of my personal quilts and sewing projects on this blog. It was a post that could be anything from an old quilt I made, to a tutorial, to something new I made, or something I just want to show you. That gave me the idea to start a new blog. That way I would have an online album of all my projects from over the past 100 years. I invite you to also follow along on my new blog, which I created to share my personal quilts, creations, and other sewing stuff. Lots of photos and just a few descriptions. Crafty Sewing and Quilting in My Garden, Kitchen, and Home.
